This blog isn’t really active yet, I’m still trying to understand what blogging is all about, how Wordpress works and what I’m going to write about. Well, actually I have some idea what this blog is about - me - and why I started it. It’s a cowards way out of writing letters to a bunch of people. 
Hopefully some old friends and aquaintances with whom I have lost contact will find this blog and write a comment or send me an e-mail. Any Old Orwellians out there? Figgis, Hopkins, anyone?
Why semi-offical? Well, I haven’t spoken to anybody about this blog yet but somehow some nosy budokas¹ has managed to find it and have started commenting on my tests and the lack of activity and so on and so forth. Well, don’t hold your breath, not much is going to happen here for a while. I still have to choose a name and a theme (layout) for this blog. And before going public I’m going to erase all those tests.
¹ Before this post got published another nosy budoka found the blog. This time it was a pesky aikidoka rather than those bothersome kendokas and iaidokas who bothered me before.
